Dr. Suzuki's Follow up (Frydheld Sector 15.09.26)
We travelled the stars again, classic style. I missed the last session because I had to go to the zoo with the niece to look at flamingos. For this session I was back, although a bit tired from working the night before and I had to leave early to work again. I also did forget about my weekly Tuesday morning Hegel reading group. All this to say I probably wasn't as much in the zone as I could have been. But I just love gaming with these people. The report won't be complete because I missed the last 30 minutes or so.

Characters
Mild mannered Suzuki was reunited with Sir Lieber and got to know two new friends: the scout veterans Zoe and Aarav. Unfortunately, Baron Gunnarsonson was absent.
Events
The crew started out on Irn with little luck at finding a patron. Suzuki convinced the others to invest in some medical supplies in order to set up a mobile clinic. Not only to help those in need but also to make some petty cash when travelling the Frydheld sector. We did think it would be a good opportunity to meet patrons too. From Irn we jumped to Neccte using Zoe Fernades' scout ship. Neccte being a gas giant we only filled our tanks and moved on to Reefhall. On Reefhall Suzuki set up his clinic and started treating rich adventure tourists (fixing lots of botched face lifts but he made 90k!). Sir Lieber, Fernandes, Bautista followed up on a hint about a Inner Band star ship (black ops?) being left untouched in the local star port's hangar. By employing their wits they made their way into the ship. They discovered the remains of a shootout. All crew members were dead and the last one had locked himself in the cockpit with a mysterious container. According to the ship's manifesto it was headed towards Mato where we heard the Inner Band had been behind a military dictatorship. Using the scanners in Suzuki's clinic, the crew discovered the contents to be some kind of element stored at very low temperatures. There was a relay in there too that would allow others in the same system to locate the signal. We were baffled and had no clue what this was. A bomb? Some material for high tech machinery? Something otherworldly? We decided to buy a big lead container and seal the briefcase in there.
Thoughts
There isn't much to say. It was a chill game and I am excited to see more of the Fryheld sector. Finding a weird thing that could be extremely dangerous or powerful and then having to figure out what to do with it in the open sandbox that is a CT sector is very sauceful. I am also still intrigued by doing some normal guy stuff like trade and business. There is something about the space setting that makes me less interested in big picture heroic business and gives me white collar middle class aspirations. CT as it is run by O.H.E. (oldhawkeyes) can definitely offer all kinds of avenues for play and bring them all together. I'll be sure to travell again, classically.
